Switzerland's original winter wonderland and the cradle of Alpine tourism, St Moritz has been luring royals, celebrities and moneyed wannabes since 1864. With its shimmering aquamarine lake, emerald forests and aloof mountains, the town looks a million dollars.

Lake St. Moritz is a lake near St. Moritz, Switzerland. With a surface of 0.78 km², it is smaller than the main lakes of the Upper Engadin valley. Every January or early February, Polo matches are held on the lake.

St. Moritz boasts 4 large ski areas of Corviglia, Corvatsch, Diavolezza/Lagalb and Zuoz, as well as 5 other small but special areas. The largest, St. Moritz - Corviglia ski area offers spectacular views, 160km (100 miles) of runs of World-Cup quality, 22 lifts, 3,000 m summit and the Corviglia Snow Park with its 30 obstacles – regarded as one of the finest in Europe.

Constructed in 1903, St. Moritz-Celerina Olympic bobsleigh piste is the oldest bobsleigh track in the world and world's last remaining natural bob run. The 1722 meter long ice channel—also known as the world's biggest "ice sculpture"—is built every winter from the ground up with only snow and water.

Lake Sils is a lake in the Upper Engadine valley, Grisons, Switzerland. It takes its name from the village of Sils im Engadin. The lake lies at an altitude of 1,797 metres above sea level, between Maloja Pass and Lake Silvaplana.

Corviglia is a minor summit situated above St. Moritz in Switzerland. It is accessible by the St. Moritz–Corviglia funicular, from the village, from there an aerial tramway goes to the Piz Nair.
