In summer it's great for hiking and other outdoor activities. The Pic du Midi is the highest mountain, with great trekking opportunities. Fabulous walks in the Pyrenees leads from coastal paths to routes through forests and valleys, across alpine plateaus and mountain passes.

The departement of the High Pyrenees offers lots of high mountains. In winter it's great for skiing, with a sun a bit hotter than in the Alpes and snow just as white.

The Musée Toulouse-Lautrec is a museum in Albi in southern France, dedicated mainly to the work of the painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec who was born near Albi. It opened in 1922 and is located in the historic center of Albi, in the Palais de la Berbie, formerly the Bishops' Palace, an imposing fortress completed at the end of the 13th century.
