The Beach of La Concha is a beach in the Bay of La Concha in San Sebastián. It is one of the most famous urban beaches in Europe. It is a sandy beach and shallow substrate, in which the tide fluctuation affects greatly the area available for use.

An aging amusement park with quaint rides can be found at the top of Mount Igeldo, at the West end of La Concha bay in San Sebastian. A funicular (cable-car) will take you up and down the mountain. As well as the rides, the top of the mountain provides a great view of the town.

Frank Gehry's spectacular twisting titanium-clad modern art museum is perhaps the most celebrated building of the 1990s. The graceful, sensuous curves, evocative of the ships that used to be ubiquitous along the docks of Bilbao, are covered in titanium squares, which resemble the scales of a fish and shimmer in the sunlight.
