Dalt Vila
Looming over Ibiza Town's dazzling natural harbor, Dalt Vila or Upper Town is a maze of whitewashed houses and narrow cobbled lanes, clustered on a hill behind mighty defensive walls and topped with the large Gothic Catedral de la Verge de les Neus, its origins dating back to the 13th century.

Formentera island
Renowned in Europe for its pristine white beaches, the island of Formentera - the smallest of the four main Balearic islands - is easily reachable from Ibiza by frequent ferry. Formentera's compact size means that it's easily explored by moped or bicycle and nude sunbathing is allowed on most of its beaches, allowing you to get a complete tan.

Església de Puig de Missa
Located in the town of Santa Eulària des Riu, this imposing hilltop church-cum-fortress was built in 1568 and is dedicated to Saint Eulalia. Its pillars and rounded arches are reminiscent of the Moorish style of architecture dominant in Andalucia.

Ses Salines National Park
Encompassing the southern part of Ibiza and the northern part of the island of Formentera, Ses Salinas National Park includes one of Ibiza's best beaches - Las Salinas, a wide crescent of white sand - as well as salt lakes and rocky coastlines that are home to flamingos, plovers and the Balearic shearwater, as well as numerous species of plant.

Best time to go:
The clubbing season is between mid-June and end of September, with August the busiest month. The summer is also the hottest and most touristy time of year; the best time to enjoy other attractions is May and September.
