Strathcona Provincial Park is a popular destination for hikers, climbers, canoeists, and kayakers. Four 2,000 m / 7,000 ft mountains are inside the park. Della Falls is regarded as the tallest in Canada, at 440 m, and is only accessible via a 15 km hiking trail.

MacMillan Provincial Park is a 301 hectare provincial park in British Columbia, Canada. Located 25 km west of Qualicum Beach and 16 km east of Port Alberni, the park straddles Highway 4 in central Vancouver Island.

You can explore spectacular Knight Inlet with a tour to find grizzly bears. As the snows melt, both black and grizzly bears emerge from their hibernation dens on the mountain slopes. Late May to mid June is the mating season with lots of interesting interaction.

A monster halibut and five Pacific salmon species are the main fishing goals here. Snapper, lingcod, crab, prawns, sole, and flounder are a few more favourite saltwater species.

From a tour boat, you can see massive grey whales or pods of orcas, also known as killer whales, as well as all kinds of other marine mammals and birds.
