Fagnano Lake
Fagnano Lake(also called Cami Lake) is located on the main island of theTierra del Fuego archipelago, and shared by Argentina and Chile Lake Fagnano is one of the largest in the world, and has a singular feature: it occupies an active tectonic depression which separates the Southamerican and Scotia Plates. Therefore, along the central part of the lake there is a geological fault: the Magellan Fault.

Lighthouse in Ushuaia
This lighthouse marks the point farest south of the South American continent, in the beagle channel close to Ushuaia, Argentina. It is a popular tourist attraction, reached on short boat tours from Ushuaia.

Cerro Castor
Fun and incredibly scenic, the largest resort is 26km from Ushuaia, also is the most modern and newest ski resort in Argentina. It has 9 ski lifts , the ski area has 1 terrain park. 1 ski cross circuit, 2 moguls courses and 25 slopes/pistes.

Ushuaia
Ushuaia is the southernmost city in the world. It is located on the shores of the Beagle Channel, at the southern tip of Tierra del Fuego Island, and surrounded by the Martial Mounts. Its superlative location allows you to enjoy sea, mountains and forests at the same time.

Train of the End of the World
It is a 500 mm gauge steam railway in Tierra del Fuego Province, Argentina. It was originally built as a freight line to serve the prison of Ushuaia, specifically to transport timber. It now operates as a heritage railway into the Tierra del Fuego National Park and is considered the southernmost functioning railway in the world.

Beagle Channel cruise
Navigating the Beagle Channel’s gunmetal-gray waters, with glaciers and rocky isles in the distance, offers a fresh perspective and decent wildlife watching. Harbor cruises are usually four-hour morning or afternoon excursions to sea lion and cormorant colonies.

Parque Nacional Tierra del Fuego
Argentina’s first coastal national park, extends 630 sq km from the Beagle Channel in the south to beyond Lago Fagnano in the north. A few scenic hikes along the bays and rivers, or through dense native forests of evergreen coihue, canelo and deciduous lenga, are worthwhile.

How to get there
By plane to Ushuahia airport. Ferry at the narrowest part of the Strait of Magellan connects Tierra del Fuego to the mainland Chile, allowing car/bus access.
