Great Pyramid of Khufu (Cheops) is the last surviving representative of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Built around 2560 BC, initially at 145 m (480 ft), the Great Pyramid was the tallest man-made structure in the world for over 3,800 years. Over 2 million blocks of stone were used to construct this edifice, all through manual labor.

The Great Sphinx is the colossal, recumbent human-headed lion was conceived of by the ancient Egyptians as the sun god Ra. 45 m long, 22 m wide, and carved from a single giant block of sandstone, the Sphinx is considerably smaller than the Pyramids around it.

Menkaure’s pyramid complex consists of a Valley Temple, a causeway, a mortuary temple, and the king’s pyramid. The Valley Temple contained several statues of Menkaure. During the 5th dynasty, a smaller ante-temple was added on to the Valley temple. The Mortuary temple also yielded several statues of Menkaure. The king’s pyramid has three subsidiary or Queen’s pyramids.

Solar Barque Museum located immediately alongside the southern face of the Great Pyramid, an exceptionally well-done museum showcasing an excavated and reconstructed "solar boat", buried along with the Pharaoh for use on his daily journey with the sun across the sky.
