• Temple Mount
  

  
  Temple Mount is one of the most important religious sites in the Old City of Jerusalem. It has been used as a religious site for thousands of years. According to the Bible, two Jewish Temples stood at the Temple Mount. The present site is dominated by three monumental structures: the al-Aqsa Mosque, the Dome of the Rock and the Dome of the Chain.

  The Western Wall or Wailing Wall is located in the Old City of Jerusalem at the foot of the Temple Mount. It is arguably the most sacred site recognized by the Jewish faith outside of the Temple Mount itself. It has been a site for Jewish prayer and pilgrimage for centuries.

  The Dome of the Rock is a shrine located on the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem. The domed central plan structure was patterned after the Christian Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

  The Church of the Holy Sepulchre in the Christian Quarter of Jerusalem is venerated as Calvary (Golgotha), where Jesus was crucified, and also contains the place where Jesus is said to have been buried. The church has been an important Christian pilgrimage destination as the purported site of the resurrection of Jesus.
  
  

• Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial
  

  
  Yad Vashem is Israel's official memorial to the victims of the Holocaust. The complex contains the Holocaust History Museum, the Children's Memorial and the Hall of Remembrance, The Museum of Holocaust Art, sculptures, outdoor commemorative sites such as the Valley of the Communities, and a synagogue. Yad Vashem is located on the slope of Mount Herz in Jerusalem.
