  There is more action at night in Kruger than during the day. Hunters take advantage of the cover of darkness to stalk their prey, while grazers and browsers often feed actively at night because they experience less energy loss than during the day.

  Masorini is a restored Iron Age village about 10km from the Phalaborwa gate. It is probably the most accessible of the remnants of stone and iron age life within the park. The huts are reconstructed and show the process the civilisation went through to forge iron.
  
  

• Blyde River Canyon
  

  
  Blyde River Canyon is one of the largest canyons on Earth, and it may be the largest 'green canyon' due to its lush subtropical foliage. It has some of the deepest precipitous cliffs of any canyon on the planet. Possibly the best view in the whole of the Canyon is of the "Three Rondavels", three huge, round rocks.
