The American side gives a side-on view of the American Falls, and an observation point only 20 yards from the top of the falls.
-
The large Canadian falls – with their distinctive curved shape – are also known as the Horseshoe Falls.
-
A boat ride, taking you down around the bottom of the falls. Some information is given about the falls, but the real experience is looking up at the falls from below and feeling the mist coming off the falls (hence the name).
-
The Cave of the Winds was a natural cave behind Bridal Veil Falls. It was obliterated in a massive 1954 rockfall. Today, the "Cave of the Winds" is a tourist attraction near the same site. An elevator takes people down to the level of the Niagara River at the base of the American Falls. A series of redwood decks and platforms allow sightseers to walk right up to the base of the Bridal Veil Falls with water crashing down right on them and flowing beneath the decking.
-
Journey consists of an observation platform and series of tunnels near the bottom of the Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side. The two tunnels extend approximately 45 m (150 ft) behind the waterfall and allow visitors to view water cascading in front of the open cave entrances.
-
Helicopter tours over the Falls and surrounding area are available from a number of operators.

The Whirlpool Aero Car offers a fantastic view of the lower Niagara River, Rapids and the Gorge, while traversing over the Whirlpool in a suspended cable car. The Aero Car has been in operation since 1916. The car is suspended from six cables and traverses the width of the gorge at almost 1 km (0.6 mi) in length.

The Daredevil gallery at IMAX is the only collection of the original daredevil barrels. Be amazed at the fragility of the contraptions that actually took people over the brink. See and touch the actual barrels, spheres and chambers of death that carried the 16 daredevils who have challenged the falls. The first one, in 1901, was a woman, 63-year-old Annie Taylor. She went over the falls in a barrel as a publicity stunt; she survived, bleeding, but virtually unharmed.
