Isla del Sol
"Island of the Sun" is the largest island on Lake Titicaca. It is an ancient holy site of the Inca. Hiking from the north to the south is very pleasant. You'll get nice views, see some llamas, donkeys, maybe the production of adobe bricks.

Isla Amantáni
Isla Amantáni is an island on the Peruvian side Lake Titicaca. It's a very peaceful place where times seems to have taken a half a century ago.

Cerro Calvario
The summit of Cerro Calvario near Copacabana can be reached in half an hour and is well worth the climb, especially in the late afternoon to watch the sun set over the lake.

Copacabana
Copacabana is a small town located on the Bolivian shore of Lake Titicaca. It hosts the Cathedral, completed in 1619, which is one of the oldest churches in Bolivia and is a fine example of Moorish style architecture. There are also the Museum of Poncho and Inca ruins nearby.

Uro Islands
The Uro Islands are floating islands made of reed, situated in Lake Titicaca on the Peruvian Altiplano. These islands are made from tortora rushes, as are the houses on them and the residents' boats.

Pre-Hispanic ruins
Lake Titicaca was the foundation of the most influential pre-Hispanic cultures of the Andean Region. The most significant monuments of that period include the Temple of the Virgins of a Sun, the Inca Steps , the Chincana ruins and many others.
